As the year comes to a close, we at West Virginia Women Work are grateful for the support and generosity of our donors. We rely on the kindness of individuals like you to continue our mission of “Support and advocate for education, employment, and economic equity of all women”.
As we look back on the challenges and triumphs of the past year, we are reminded of the importance of coming together to make a positive impact in our community. Your donations have allowed us to continue providing our Step Up for Women Construction Pre-Apprenticeship training, provide steel-toed boots to students who could not afford them, provide tool belts with basic hand tools to our graduates so that they are prepared for their first day of work in their new career, pay first-year union dues for recent graduates, pay the cost of exam fees for past graduates, provide winter work clothes for graduates, and so much more.
