For 25 years, West Virginia Women Work has been helping individuals across our state build the skills, confidence, and connections they need to succeed in high-wage, high-demand careers in the skilled trades. This year, as we mark 25 years of impact, we’re not just looking back—we’re building what’s next.
Why Now? Why $25?
Workforce shortages continue to affect businesses across West Virginia. At the same time, too many individuals are still searching for a reliable path to a sustainable career. West Virginia Women Work has been bridging that gap for a quarter of a century, training over 1,000 people and contributing more than $728,000 in wages to the local economy in the last year alone.
But this work doesn’t happen on its own. That’s why we’ve launched the $25 for 25 Years campaign, with a goal of raising $25,000 by June 22 to ensure that we can keep training, supporting, and connecting the skilled workers our communities depend on.
