Are you ready to build a new future? We invite you to join us for an Open House for our Step Up for Women Construction Pre-apprenticeship Program. This event will take place on August 8, 2023, from 10 AM – 4 PM at our location at 201 New Jersey Street, Morgantown, WV 26501. We’re conveniently located above the Family Dollar in Westover.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our program, which is designed to empower women with the essential job skills needed for nontraditional careers. Our program offers a comprehensive 12-week training course that covers a variety of areas, from communication and resume writing to goal setting and overcoming barriers. In addition, participants will receive certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, Forklift Operation, Intro to Welding, HVAC & Plumber in Training, and OSHA 10.
During the Open House, you’ll have the chance to meet our team, ask questions, and get a feel for what our program is all about. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply and interview on the spot. We’re committed to helping our students figure out what career path will best suit their needs, whether they have children or depend on public transportation to get back and forth to work. Our goal is to set you up for the best chances of success.
