CNC Machining Bootcamp

RCBI is part of an effort to restore the prominence of the U.S Manufacturing sector. They are doing this through the ACE (America’s Cutting Edge) a U.S. Department of Defense-funded initiative. They will begin offering a series of CNC Machining Bootcamps open to people of all ages and skill levels. There is no cost to participate in the boot camps.  The boot camps will consist of a self-paced online portion which will take about six hours to complete. There is also a one-week, in-person hands-on portion that will be conducted at RCBI’s Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center. The centers are located in Huntington & Charleston, WV.

Eligibility

The boot camps will be open to anyone that lives, works, or attends school in West Virginia, Ohio, or Kentucky. No prior experience is necessary. Participants will be grouped by experience level to ensure everyone gets the most possible out of the boot camp. Women are strongly encouraged to apply.
