What We Do

West Virginia Women Work, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to helping individuals in West Virginia gain the skills needed to secure higher-paying jobs in growing industries, especially the skilled trades. Our programs focus on providing training, career coaching, and hands-on experience to prepare participants for rewarding careers in high-demand fields.

WVWW offers job skills training programs designed to meet the needs of both workers and employers. By equipping individuals with the tools and certifications necessary for success, we help address the skilled labor shortage while connecting employers with a well-prepared workforce.

We also provide a wide range of technical assistance services for apprenticeship programs, employers, and training providers. Our services include workforce development planning, best practices training, recruitment strategies, and tailored workforce solutions. WVWW is here to support organizations in building stronger teams and helping businesses succeed in today’s competitive job market.
