SUMMARY
Recently graduated from the Step Up for Women Construction Pre-apprenticeship program, where my outstanding performance resulted in being offered the position of Program Coordinator for the Step Up for Women Advanced Manufacturing Pre-apprenticeship Program. Prior to this, I come from a solid background in the service industry spanning over 20 years. I am well-versed in handling demanding, fast-paced environments. Throughout my career, I honed my skills in time management, organization, and prioritization to guarantee efficient and precise execution of tasks and projects. These experiences have prepared me well for the challenges of the Step Up program.

ROLE WITH WEST VIRGINIA WOMEN WORK
The Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all aspects of the Step Up for Women Manufacturing training program including managing the day-to-day operations of the office, recruiting participants, coordinating the course, community outreach, employer outreach, and participant job placement. The Program Coordinator reports to the Executive Director.
Establishes teachers, speakers, and supplemental training for students
Recruits training program participants
Teaches mandatory soft skill topics in the classroom
Works individually with students throughout the class and after graduation to help them in their job search, refer to contacts, and offer encouragement and advice
Maintains contact with both students and employers to help facilitate any problems that arise and maintain a working relationship
Establishes job-shadowing opportunities for students
Familiar with the manufacturing and trades occupations, how to train for them, and how to get a job in the manufacturing and/or nontraditional field
Maintain a comprehensive and clear filing system of program activities and participant information in order to quickly supply requested information
